GOLF EVENTS TROPHY INTERNATIONAL, a real team competition, indisputably promotes the values of golf and Olympism, the
symbol of a philosophy of life through knowledge, the spirit of competition, excellence and fair play.
Thus, sensitive to these values, GOLF EVENTS TROPHY INTERNATIONAL brings a collective dimension to the competition by
requiring each team to rely on a degree of complementarity in order to achieve the first two places that are synonymous with
qualification for the final abroad. In addition, the breaks encourage exchanges between golf enthusiasts that can lead to new
friendly and/or professional relations.
GOLF EVENTS TROPHY INTERNATIONAL represents a journey through the most beautiful golf courses in Switzerland and is a
major competition involving passion, sport and the community.
PRESENTATION OF THE TOURNAMENT
This is a mixed competition in teams of two golfers that includes 5 qualifying stages on the most prestigious golf courses
in Switzerland:
• Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre • Golf Club Verbier
Golf Club de Sion • Golf Parc Signal de Bougy • Golf Resort La Gruyère
The Final in Algarve, Portugal
There are 70 teams of two golfers at each stage. The total number of participants on the whole circuit: 800 golfers.
At each stage, the best team in net is called to defend the colours of its club during the final.
This one-day event includes 3 major attractions:
• An 18-hole course played in 4 balls best ball stableford
• Turn with a Chef
• Prize-giving ceremony followed by a white party BBQ and live music
